How it went at EMEPAN Maiden Masterclass Workshop

The highly anticipated workshop of Entertainment Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria  (EMEPAN)  was a great success ,as all the shortlisted persons selected across the facets of the industry, were on site to deliver their lectures and showcase the practicalities in diverse stages of executing  entertainment events to their younger counterparts in the industry.

The Resource person’s which cut across strata of the industry were carefully selected by the Board of EMEPAN to ensure the delivery of an all inclusive experience at their maiden workshop and included the publisher of CKN News and founder guild of professional bloggers association of Nigeria Mr. Chris Kehinde Nwandu a man of many feats with vast experience in artist/ events management, advertising and just recently added law to his plethora of CVs.

Others are seasoned entertainment writer turned group Political Editor of Thisday newspaper Nseobong Okon Ekong, the guru himself  Mr Justice  Atigogo who has an amazing multi profile as an actor, public relations expert and broadcaster extraordinaire, he is the producer 12to12, a lifestyle and society programme and the acclaimed youngest editor and a well travelled award winning  hospitality lifestyle writer and reporter, presently the editor Guardian on Saturday, Chucks Nwanne.

It was an experience to treasure as youths gathered for the maiden Entertainment Media and Events Promoters Association of Nigeria (EMEPAN) Masterclass workshop in Lagos.

The workshop which took the youths on how to plan events as well as how to report entertainment events, saw experts in the media, event planning, advertising and journalism, dishing out their experience in artist/events management, advertising, events reportage and management.

EMEPAN Director of Communications, Mr. Amaobi Madu, said the organisers held the Workshop to groom a new generation of industry practitioners.

He also revealed that the outfit will soon unveil other lined up programmes that will engender tremendous change in the Entertainment Media and Event Promotion sectors.

The workshop took place on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 at the CCX Event Center, 273 Kofo Abayomi Street Victoria Island, Lagos with Sag Orume as the host.
