In an interactive session with the Clergy that took place before the Altar of God,  the PDP House of Assembly  Candidate for  Uzo Uwani  State Constituency in Enugu House of Assembly Elections  Hon.Martins Ekwueme has  reiterated his undying commitment to the development of Uzo Uwani at the state assembly as his one and only passion for vying to represent his people.

Hon. Ekwueme who has been steadfast in Enugu State PDP for  over a decade and have jostled for the Uzo Uwani State Assembly ticket 3 good times before emerging victorious in the last primaries conducted in the state has revealed that he is driven by only a single concern whuch is the developmental welfare of his people.

Having been in the political and governance system as an observer, Hon.Ekwueme  told the clergy honestly from the heart  that he  knows the issues and problems of Uzo Uwani and how to tackle the situation that the system is experiencing if elected as the next house of assembly of Uzo Uwani Enugu state.

He also stated that he comes from a big and effective party ( PDP) , an umbrella that can accommodate everyone and that makes him an easier choice for the people to coast to victory in the coming polls with him as their best  bet as the candidate that has endured sleepless nights over the plight of his people.

During the interactive session held between the candidates and the clergy , it was revealed that he contested for this position ( house of assembly) twice in 2010 and in 2018 and was not given a ticket. And that him being third time lucky is an act of providence, a divine sign from God of Trinity, and regardless of his past challenges in contesting the PDP primaries he remain committed to his chosen party ideology and never left.

Finally, he advised the people to always stand by their party and not to be too quick to leave for another party if they aren’t taken or chosen for a position because dedication and hardwork will surely pay off. Hon.Ekwueme pledged before God , the clergy and his people  that He isn’t going to disappoint them as all that he is going to do will be for  the progress of his people and state.

He heartily thanked everyone that took their time to attend and  participate in the Uzo –Uwani/Igbo etiti house of assembly and house of representative interactive session with the clergy with a loud ovation following his honest and hope renewing presentation.
