The Honourable Member representing Nkanu East LGA at the Enugu State Assembly released a Press Statement yesterday,affirming the judges decision to discard the charges against the State Governor at the election Tribunal.

Hon Okey Mba congratulated Bar. Dr. Peter Mbah in a self signed release from his office to the media, immediately after the judgement was made upholding the Enugu State’s Governor’s victory at the gubernatorial election held in March 2023.

“I am thrilled to share the breaking news that the Tribunal has ruled in favour of our esteemed governor, Bar. Dr. Peter Mbah, affirming his rightful election by a majority of votes cast. This is a clear confirmation of the mandate of the people of Enugu State and a moment of celebration for all.

I, and my constituents in Nkanu East, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our dear son and brother His Excellency, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on this well-deserved victory at the tribunal. It’s clear that his intentions are pure and focused on leading our beloved state to new heights of progress and prosperity.

I call upon all the people of Nkanu East and Enugu State in general to unite behind Governor Peter Mbah’s visionary leadership as he navigate Enugu State to a destination of our dreams. It is time for all aggrieved parties to rally round the governor to build an enviable state.
