The incident, suspected to be the work of kidnappers, has left the community reeling in shock and fear.

According to a reliable source, the assailants struck Gwamnati’s family home on Friday, unleashing a hail of bullets that fatally wounded him. Despite being rushed to a hospital in Jos for urgent medical attention, Gwamnati succumbed to his injuries a few hours later, leaving behind a grieving family and a shattered community.

The victim later died at JUTH after treatment started.”

Plateau State, once known for its serene landscapes and vibrant culture, has been plagued by recurring incidents of violence, ranging from inter-communal clashes to banditry and kidnapping. Despite efforts by the government and security forces to restore stability, the lingering threat of insecurity continues to cast a shadow over the lives of ordinary citizens, who live in fear of becoming the next victims of senseless violence.

As investigations into the tragic incident unfold, residents of Bokkos and neighboring communities remain on edge, grappling with the trauma of the attack and the uncertainty of what the future holds.
