South Africa-based lawyer partners Imo lawmaker, GetBundi College of Tech to train Youths on Coding

GetBundi to Train 12 Youths for Njaba State Constituency

Mr Johnson Anyiam, a lawyer in South Africa, is partnering with a member of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Ebonine Beneath Ozioma of Njaba State Constituency, Imo State to train 12youths in his constituency on coding and digital education.

The digital skill education will be on GetBundi Education Technology platform, a hybrid digital skills education platform for the youths across Africa.

A statement by Mrs Juliet Ijei, the course coordinator for GetBundi, indicated that the training is on Coding, a programming language and will last for six months with online live classes and a masterclass every month from industry experts. We handhold our students and facilitate their learning process all along their curriculum with monthly performance based tests that allow students to take their theoretical understanding which is knowledge and turn it into the practical application which is skill.Our curriculum is designed to make our students job ready. The training cost is N300,000 per trainee,” Ijei said.

Mr. Anyiam, a principal partner at Anyiam Attorneys Inc, Sandton, South Africa, emphasised that acquiring digital skills is crucial for Nigerian youths in today’s world as it enhances employability, fosters innovation, and promotes economic development. He further pledged to continue to support the youths in Njaba Local Government to acquire skills needed to make them instantly employable.

In his remarks, the founder of GetBundi Osita Oparaugo thanked Mr Anyiam and Hon Ebonine for their support to the youths. “We believe that Nigerian youths possess the ability and creativity to lead the African digital transformation if given the best chances to learn which is why we developed GetBundi platform and crafted the courses to help them learn and commercialize innovation. We are sure this is a life changing opportunity for the beneficiaries. We want more Nigerians to emulate Mr Anyiam and support the youths in their local communities and states. Youth empowerment should not be left for the government alone.

GetBundi is a hybrid Digital Skills education institution for African youths and an online STEM education platform for post primary schools delivering high-quality, engaging, and accessible education content from proficient educationalist and industry experts across the world. GetBundi College of Technology is approved by the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria and the National Board for Technical Education as a tertiary institution. (NAN)
