The Africa Diaspora Collective Embassy of North and South America (ADC-NSA), in partnership with the Corporate Executive Management Team (CEMT), is pleased to announce International Organic Farming (IOF) Program, an exclusive opportunity for Nigerian students interested in expanding their career prospects and gaining valuable skills in agriculture.

IOF is a certification course with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA),

About the Program:

The IOF Program Certification Course offers a comprehensive understanding of organic certification processes and requirements, enabling participants to exploit exciting Agro trade and job opportunities

The course will run for a duration of six weeks, staring from 3rd June 2024and will be conducted online via Zoom. Sessions will be held three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6 pm GMT to 8 pm GMT.

 

Eligibility and Application Process:

– Nigerian students enrolled in Universities and Colleges of Agriculture nationwide are invited to apply.

– The application window is from **May 10th to May 24th, 2024.**

– Tuition fee for the certification course is **US$25.

In addition to the certification course, participants will have the chance to explore job opportunities in the USA as organic certifiers. Limited Slots Available:

We can only accommodate **100 applicants** for the next cohort, which will be divided into two groups of 50. Those not selected will be placed on a waiting list for the next cohort, scheduled to commence two weeks after graduation. With several cohorts planned throughout the year, applicants are encouraged to apply promptly to secure their spot in this exciting program.
