Nigerian Students Shine at KNUST International Students Day

Congratulations to the Nigerian Students Community at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for their outstanding display of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. The students emerged first in the cultural performance category during the institution’s International Students Day Cultural Event for 2024, held last weekend.

The event took place on May 25, 2024, at the KSB Block E Basement, KNUST, and started at 1 pm. It featured participation from various African countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Eswatini, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Organized by the International Students Association of KNUST, the activities included PowerPoint presentations from each country, traditional dances, spoken word performances, fashion parades, and food exhibitions.

The Nigerian Students Community in Ghana is immensely proud of their peers at KNUST for showcasing the best of Nigeria’s diverse culture. Their commitment to representing Nigeria’s vibrant heritage was evident in their performances, earning them top honors in the cultural performance category.

NANS-Ghana Media extends heartfelt congratulations to these students for their achievements and for making the nation proud. Your dedication and talent highlight Nigeria’s cultural richness and foster a positive image for all Nigerian students abroad.
