Chike Okafor to Lead Discussion in Ghana for Nigerian Eye Newspaper Anniversary.

Honourable Chike Okafor, a member of the Federal House of Representatives in Imo State, will be a guest speaker at the 15th Anniversary Lecture of Nigerian Eye Newspaper in Accra, Ghana on June 13, 2024. The event, themed “Trade Conundrum: Expanding Understanding of the ECOWAS Module as Catalyst to Prosperity in Sub-Saharan Africa,” will feature Okafor’s expertise on trade cooperation among ECOWAS member states.

 

As an economist and former bank executive, Okafor will provide valuable insights into the benefits of enhanced trade cooperation, opportunities, and challenges of cross-border trade, and strategies to overcome obstacles. His presentation will offer a unique perspective on practical steps needed to enhance trade and economic cooperation in ECOWAS.

 

Okafor’s participation in the event is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discourse. His expertise in economics and trade will provide a comprehensive understanding of the ECOWAS trade module’s benefits and challenges. The event will also feature other notable speakers, including Senator Osita Izunaso, Hon. Tochukwu Okere, and Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie.
