Nigerian Footballer Jayden Ogbebor Signs Scholarship Deal with Stoke City

Stoke City Football Club has announced the signing of Nigerian descent centre forward, Jayden Ogbebor, to a two-year scholarship deal. The talented young player put pen to paper at a special celebration event at the bet365 Stadium, alongside other academy scholars.

Ogbebor, who joined Stoke City at U13 level, has been described as a striker who loves playing on the shoulder and comes alive in the box. He has represented England at youth level and has scored eight goals in fifteen appearances combined in the U18 Premier League.

The signing of Ogbebor is a significant development for Nigerian football, as he is considered one of the top young talents in the country. His signing is expected to boost the Nigerian football team’s chances in upcoming international competitions.

The scholarship deal is a stepping stone for Ogbebor, who is expected to sign a professional contract with Stoke City when he turns 17. He has already commenced training with the team at Clayton Wood and is expected to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.

This development is a testament to the growing talent in Nigerian football, and Stoke City’s commitment to developing young players. Ogbebor’s signing is expected to inspire other young Nigerian players to work hard and pursue their dreams in football.
