Enugu State – August 17, 2024– The family of Elder Levi Nnanyelugo Eze of Umuogodo in Amufie, Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, has announced the final burial arrangements for their beloved matriarch, Mrs. Paulina Nweja Eze. The late Mrs. Eze, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 67, will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The solemn announcement was made by Mr. Gideon Eze, the eldest son of the family and CEO of Hezoni Inter-Rent Ltd, Ghana. In a heartfelt communiqué issued on behalf of the family, Mr. Eze expressed the deep sorrow felt by the entire family and community over the loss of their mother. He described her as a remarkable woman whose humility, kindness, and industrious spirit touched many lives.
Burial Schedule
– Friday, August 30, 2024: A Service of Songs will be held in honor of the late Mrs. Paulina Eze.
– Saturday, August 31, 2024:
• 9:00 AM: Lying in State at the family compound in Umuogodo, Amufie-Enugu Ezike.
• 10:00 AM: Funeral Service at Elder Levi Eze’s compound, followed by the interment.
– Sunday, September 1, 2024: Thanksgiving Service to conclude the funeral rites.
Mrs. Paulina Eze’s passing has cast a somber mood over Enugu-Ezike and the wider Igbo-Eze North LGA, where she was revered for her dedication to her family, community, and faith. Known for her industrious nature, she excelled in various business endeavors during her life and remained a devoted Christian until her final days.
Mrs. Eze’s death occurred at the former Eastern Nigeria Medical Center Enugu, now known as Dr. Nlogha Okeke Memorial Medical Foundation, after a prolonged illness. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and the many people whose lives she impacted.
