Primate Ayodele Urges President Tinubu to Revamp Nigeria’s Symbols for Unity

Lagos, August 21, 2024- Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on President Bola Tinubu to change Nigeria’s flag, passport, and constitution, citing their spiritual significance to the nation’s progress.

In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, on Wednesday, Primate Ayodele emphasized that these national symbols have deep spiritual implications that are holding the country back. He suggested that altering them would bring about unity and prosperity for Nigeria.

“President Tinubu should change the Nigerian flag, constitution, and passport to promote unity and prosperity in the country. These national materials are dragging us down, but many may not understand it,” Ayodele stated.

He further explained that the proposed changes would have a positive, exponential impact on the country’s development. “If the president does all of these, it would have a positive effect on Nigeria,” he added.

Ayodele acknowledged that his message might be misunderstood by some, urging those in doubt to seek spiritual guidance. “Many will not understand this message and interpret it in their own way. These spiritual matters require spiritual interpretation and understanding,” he said.

The Nigerian flag, constitution, and passport represent the country’s identity, and Ayodele believes that updating them is essential to setting Nigeria on a path to greatness. He concluded by urging the president to take action, stating, “Nigeria should have gone beyond these, but our identity is dragging us down.”

This call to action comes as Nigeria faces numerous challenges, and Primate Ayodele’s suggestion adds a spiritual perspective to the ongoing national dialogue on how to move the country forward.
