Hon. Okey Mbah, the representative of Nkanu East Constituency, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Enugu State PDP Executive Committee following the successful 2024 State PDP Congress.
In a statement, Hon. Mbah praised the smooth and orderly conduct of the congress, which he said reflects the unity and strength of the PDP in Enugu State. He expressed his gratitude to His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his leadership during the process.
Hon. Mbah offered special congratulations to the newly elected State PDP Chairman, Dr. Martins Chukwunwike. Describing Dr. Chukwunwike as a loyal and experienced leader, Hon. Mbah expressed confidence that his leadership will further enhance the growth of the party in the state.
He also congratulated other key members of the newly elected executive, including Hon. Chukwudi Nnadozie, the new State Secretary; Barr. Steve Orurua, the Deputy Chairman; and the entire state executive committee for their well-deserved victory. According to Hon. Mbah, party members have full confidence in the capabilities and competence of the new leadership to guide the party to future successes.
Furthermore, Hon. Mbah extended special recognition to members of his constituency who secured key positions in the new executive. He congratulated Hon. Patrick Okoh, the new State Treasurer; Hon. Nnamdi Nwafor, the State Vice Chairman for Enugu East Zone; and Deacon K. C. Agwu, the Assistant Legal Adviser. He noted that these individuals have been entrusted with these responsibilities because of their proven loyalty and capacity to deliver.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Mbah called on all members of the PDP to work together to strengthen the party in Enugu State by supporting the people-oriented projects initiated by the governor.
