Lord’s Chosen: Viral Testimonies Were Dreams, Not Real-life Miracles

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has responded to viral videos circulating online, clarifying that the testimonies shared by some of its members were dreams and not real-life events, as many were led to believe. Pastor Chidi Louis, the church’s spokesperson, issued a statement urging Nigerians to be cautious about the misleading content being shared, which he says has been distorted by bloggers.

The church became a topic of discussion after a series of videos surfaced, showcasing dramatic testimonies from its members. One particular video, featuring an elderly woman describing how she defeated armed robbers wielding AK-47 rifles, sparked widespread controversy. However, Pastor Louis explained that these testimonies were taken out of context and presented as real-life occurrences, when they were, in fact, spiritual victories experienced in dreams.

According to Pastor Louis, the viral videos were intentionally edited to discredit the church’s divine works. He emphasized that only selective portions of the testimonies were shown, which altered their original meaning. “These videos have been manipulated to mislead the public,” he said. To address the confusion, the church has released the unedited versions of the testimonies to provide full context and transparency.

In addition, other religious leaders have voiced their support for the church. Pastor Gospel, a pastor based in Port Harcourt, stressed that many testimonies, particularly from the Lord’s Chosen, reflect spiritual battles won in dreams, which hold significant meaning in the Christian faith.

Despite the backlash, the Lord’s Chosen Church continues to stand by its testimonies and urges the public to watch the complete videos before making judgments. Pastor Louis also condemned the actions of bloggers, calling their edits “malicious” and aimed at undermining the work of God.

The conversation around the viral testimonies has drawn mixed reactions on social media, with some mocking the nature of the stories while others defend the power of dreams in spiritual experiences.

For those seeking clarity, the church encourages the public to view the full testimonies on its official platforms.
