**Davido Reveal

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has disclosed that he has direct access to 14 presidents around the world. The award-winning artist made this revelation during the ‘Elevate Africa’ programme, where he spoke about the transformative power of music and its impact on his family.

The Blow My Mind crooner highlighted how his global success has opened doors not just for himself but also for his family, noting that leaders from countries he visits often request to meet him.

“Aside from my dad’s businesses and wealth, I know how many doors my music has opened for my family. Yes o, forget the money. I have 14 presidents’ phone numbers. I can call them directly,” Davido said.

He also emphasized how his international recognition contributes to promoting Nigerian culture globally, describing the opportunity as an “amazing feeling.”

Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has been a leading figure in the Afrobeats genre, using his music to bridge cultural gaps and bring African music to the world stage. His comments reflect the influence and connections he has built as a global artist.

However, the singer has recently faced criticism over remarks about Nigeria’s struggling economy. Following public backlash, he revealed that his upcoming December concert in Lagos may be at risk due to the controversy surrounding his statements.

Despite the challenges, Davido remains a symbol of success and a prominent ambassador of Nigerian culture on the global stage.
