Black Stars B Team Host Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Crucial CHAN Qualifier

The long-standing football rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria reignites this weekend as the Black Stars B team, known as the Galaxies, host Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team in the first leg of the final qualifying round for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

 

The highly anticipated match will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 22, 2024, with fans on both sides eagerly awaiting the clash.

 

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Ghana Chapter, has called on all Nigerian football fans in Ghana to turn out in large numbers to support the Super Eagles B team. Secretary-General Khaliq Ademola Amao emphasized the importance of fan support, stating:

 

“We will leave no stone unturned to give the necessary moral support to ginger our Super Eagles to play better. We encourage all Nigerians to be at the Accra Sports Stadium to cheer our team to victory.”

 

Known for their lively singing and drumming, the supporters club promises to electrify the stadium atmosphere and inspire the Super Eagles to secure a favorable result ahead of the second leg in Nigeria.

 

The return leg is scheduled for December 28, 2024, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, where both teams will battle for a place in the 2025 CHAN tournament.

 

Fans are urged to come out in full force and show their unwavering support for the Super Eagles in this crucial first-leg encounter.
