Tragedy in Lagos: Missing Police Inspector Found Dead in Festac, Lagos

In a grim development, Bishop Clement, a police inspector reported missing last week, has been found dead in Festac Town, Lagos.

His lifeless body was discovered at the Second Rainbow area, days after his wife raised an alarm over his disappearance. A police wireless message had been issued across Lagos divisions following the incident.

Inspector Clement, identified by service number AP/No. 352498, was last seen on April 23, 2025, after he left for duty and never returned. According to the internal police signal obtained by Sahara Reporters, his wife reported that all attempts to reach him on his two mobile lines had failed.

The message, referenced AB: 2680/LS/AP/VOL.1/146, was signed by both the Commissioner of Police, Department of Finance and Administration, and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Area B, Apapa. It urged all police formations to assist in locating the officer.

Sadly, the search has now ended in tragedy, raising fresh questions about the safety of law enforcement officers and the circumstances surrounding Inspector Clement’s death.
