The Nigerian Eye Newspaper has marked a significant milestone in its journey, celebrating its dedication to unbiased reportage and commitment to fostering relationships between Nigerians in the diaspora and their host nations.

 

At the 15th Anniversary Lecture and Discourse of the Newspaper held in Accra, Ghana, the Nigerian Eye Newspaper’s management expressed gratitude to various individuals and organizations that have supported its journey so far. Dr. Emma Okeson, CEO of Citylight Group, was commended for facilitating the participation of Hon. Tochukwu Okere, Chairman of the Diaspora Affairs Committee, and hosting him. The Nigeria High Commission in Ghana was also acknowledged for its unwavering support and commitment to Nigerians in the country.

 

The National Association of Nigerian Students, Ghana, and students from West and Central Africa who participated from Eagle Vision Institute were also recognized for their contributions. The old and new leadership of All Nigeria Community Ghana was commended for their consistency and permanent support to the publication.

 

Cookey Iwuoha, speaking on behalf of the newspaper, reiterated its pledge to publish reliable information about events and social issues in society on its website, (www.nigerianeyenewspaper.com) He emphasized the publication’s commitment to objective reporting and unbiased narratives, aimed at bridging the geographic gap between Nigerians and their host nations in the diaspora.

 

Hon. Tochukwu Okere’s introspective presentation and sacrifice in leaving his comfort zone to engage with Nigerians in Ghana was particularly commended. His interactive session with the Nigerian community was hailed as a significant step in fostering bilateral relationships and networking between Nigerians in Ghana and their host nation, as well as Africans of diverse West African states

 

The Nigerian Eye Newspaper’s efforts align with the goals of the “Africa We Want” agenda, promoting a glorious future for the continent. The publication’s commitment to unbiased reportage and facilitating dialogues has made it a trusted voice in the diaspora community.
