The family of Elder Levi Nnanyelugo Eze recently announced the passing of their matriarch, Mrs. Paulina Nweja Eze, who departed this life on May 24th at the age of 67. The community came together to pay their respects and celebrate her life during a series of funeral ceremonies held on August 30th, 31st, and September 1st, 2024.
Mrs. Eze was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her passing left a void in the lives of her loved ones and the community, who remembered her for her exceptional brilliance, hard work, faith, and compassion.
The funeral ceremonies began on Friday, August 30th, with a service of songs held at Elder Levi Eze’s compound at 10:00 am. The service was attended by friends, relatives, and well-wishers, who gathered to pay their respects and celebrate Mrs. Eze’s life.
On Saturday, August 31st, a funeral service was held at 9:00 am, followed by burial at the family compound. The service was a fitting tribute to Mrs. Eze’s life, with eulogies and tributes paid by family members, friends, and community leaders.
A thanksgiving service was held on Sunday, September 1st, to give thanks for Mrs. Eze’s life and legacy. The service was attended by a large congregation, who came to celebrate her life and bid her farewell.
Throughout the ceremonies, the community came together to support the Eze family, who were visibly moved by the outpouring of love and support. The family expressed their gratitude to all who attended and participated in the ceremonies, saying, “We are grateful for the love and support shown to us during this difficult time. May our mother’s soul rest in peace.”
Mrs. Paulina Nweja Eze will be deeply missed by her family and the community, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
