Nigerian Police Authorities Approve Distribution of New Uniforms to Officers

 

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the distribution of new kits and uniforms to personnel of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). This development aims to enhance the welfare and professionalism of officers across the country.

 

In a statement released on Saturday, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the decision and highlighted the IGP’s commitment to improving working conditions for officers.

 

“This initiative supports the IGP’s vision to ensure a well-equipped and motivated police workforce,” Adejobi stated. He added that this step is part of broader efforts to enhance professionalism and create better working conditions within the force.

 

The statement also expressed optimism about the 2025 budget, which the IGP believes will fund additional welfare-focused projects. These projects are expected to further empower officers to execute their duties effectively, ensuring the safety and security of all Nigerians.

 

The Nigeria Police Force reiterated its dedication to maintaining a motivated and efficient workforce to address the country’s security challenges.
