An unconfirmed report from an eye witness has made some clarifications regarding the news circulating in social media that Lagos Oriental Hotel,a landmark edifice in the Lekki Phase 1 Metropolis which is situated very close to the toll gate where yesterday massacre incident happened,was not razed with fire as being circulated in social media, the gentle man confirmed to us that the building is still standing and was not razed with fire as reported.
The witness told our reporter that youths did not succeed in attacking the property as it had military snipers on its roof,alongside a few building in the area earlier on, before the reportedly Lekki Massacre,which is part of the ploy of the authorities to protect properties in the area,the yet to be confirmed report still told us in assurance that Access Bank Building in the same vicinity also gave the military snipers access to their roofs as well among a few others.
Lagos Oriental Hotel though reportedly suffered some damages from the angry youths but enough access had not ben gained by the youth to raze the edifice.
