Biden’s remarks drew a swift response from Russia, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov labeling Biden’s language as “disgraceful” and accusing him of trying to portray himself as a “Hollywood cowboy.”
Peskov emphasized that such language from the President of the United States does not affect Putin but rather diminishes those who use such rhetoric. He also criticized Biden directly, questioning whether Putin had ever used such crude language towards him and suggesting that such vocabulary reflects poorly on America itself.
