Unlock Your Agri-Potential!Orlu Zone Youths Join Our 4-Day Training Program

Date: June 6th – 9th, 2024

Time: 9 am daily

Venue: Lobic Hotel, Owerri

The training program, organized by Senator Osita Izunaso in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Cooperative College, Oji River, aims to equip participants with modern cassava techniques to enhance their agribusiness ventures.

The training will cover various aspects of cassava production, processing, and marketing, with a focus on best practices to enhance yield and profitability. Participants will learn about modern techniques in cassava peeling, grating, pressing, fermentation, and drying, as well as detoxifying cassava to remove cyanide. They will also be trained on how to produce high-quality garri and fufu.

The program is designed to empower women and youths in Imo West Senatorial Zone to become successful agribusiness entrepreneurs, contributing to economic growth and development in their communities. By acquiring modern cassava techniques and best practices, participants will improve their productivity, increase their income, and create jobs for others.

At the end of the training, participants will receive certificates and starter packs to support them in establishing their own agribusiness ventures.
