Historic Milestone Achieved: HUG Diaspora TV Launches in Ghana!

Accra, Ghana – In a groundbreaking move, the Embassy of the African Diaspora Collective North and South America (ADC-NSA) has launched HUG Diaspora TV, a revolutionary television network tailored to the African diaspora community in Ghana. This pioneering initiative is powered by the African Diaspora Collective Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCCI).

HUG Diaspora TV is set to transform the media landscape in Ghana, offering a platform for the diaspora community to showcase their talents, share their stories, and connect with their roots. The network will take over Saturday programming, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to host their own shows, advertise their businesses, and create job opportunities for the youth.

Ambassador Davisha L Johnson, ADC North and South America Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia, USA, has worked tirelessly to secure this historic partnership. “Let’s have our own voice in Ghana, change the mindset about our community, engage and learn from each other, and showcase the HUG Diaspora Culture,” she emphasized.

HUG Diaspora TV offers competitive pricing, with rates starting at 5k cedis per month for a one-hour slot. Advertising packages include a free 30-day trial, with a 10% commission for any additional shows or advertisers brought on board. The network currently covers Greater Accra, reaching between 2k to 4k viewers during peak hours.

The studio, located near the Arts Centre in Accra, offers Digital TV broadcasting and live streaming capabilities, allowing global audiences to tune in and engage via WhatsApp.

This groundbreaking initiative is open to all, with ADCCCI members eligible for a 10% discount on airtime. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a historic moment in Ghana’s media history!
