Jigawa APC LG Candidate Passes Away Days Before Election

 

In a tragic development, Yahuza Umar Labbo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kirikasamma Local Government election in Jigawa State, has died just days before the election. Labbo, aged 55, passed away following a brief illness, according to reports from the state.

 

Labbo’s death was confirmed by the Jigawa State APC Chairman, Aminu Gumel. The late politician leaves behind three wives and fifteen children.

 

The Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, has expressed his condolences to Labbo’s family and the Muslim community, offering prayers for the deceased and strength for the grieving family during this difficult time.

 

This unexpected loss has cast a shadow over the upcoming local government elections in Jigawa State, as the APC and the local community mourn the passing of their candidate.
