A 27-year-old UK-based postgraduate student, Daniel Ogoh, has gone missing in Nigeria, sparking widespread concern among his family and friends.
Daniel arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on May 5, 2024, but his whereabouts remain unknown since then.
According to his uncle, Mr. Imade Osamede, Daniel’s name was on the airport’s manifest, and he was cleared by immigration authorities without any issues.
Despite efforts to contact him through his phone numbers, Daniel’s family has been unable to reach him.
The family has reported the matter to law enforcement agencies, but the search has yielded no results.
“This is really strange and unfortunate,” said Imade Osamede, Daniel’s uncle. “I don’t understand how somebody can arrive from Europe and disappear into thin air in their own country. This has thrown the parents and other family members into emotional trauma.”
The family is pleading with anyone with information on Daniel’s disappearance to contact the nearest police station or reach out to the family directly.
