Imo State is set to host its first-ever Artificial Intelligence (AI) Demonstration Tour, scheduled for November 1st and 2nd, 2024. The event, themed “AI in Everyday Life: Preparing Imo Entrepreneurs, Corporate Executives, and Youths for Emerging Solutions in the Tech Space”, aims to equip key members of the community with essential AI skills, positioning them for success in the evolving digital economy.
The two-day AI tour will focus on foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. Attendees will receive hands-on training and real-world applications of these technologies. The target audience includes corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and young professionals who aspire to be leaders and innovators in Africa’s digital economy.
In a bid to ensure the success of this pioneering event, the organizers are seeking partnerships with institutions that share a commitment to youth empowerment and technological advancement. These partnerships will help subsidize the cost of the event, making it more accessible to the community. With adequate support, organizers hope to offer the training either at a significantly reduced cost or free of charge.
