Africa Fashion Week London and the Fashion Futures team are delighted to announce an exclusive masterclass which will introduce the new innovations in the world of fashion. New York’s Parsons School of Design & Technology lecturer, Christopher Kirwan will bring you closer to understanding the latest concepts and applications of new technologies and digital media related to the creation of new innovative lines of clothing and wearable technology for both commercial and artistic production. The class will include examples of 3D software, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, digital fabric design, production and the digital display of new collections. The masterclass is a standalone course from the AFWL Fashion Futures 6-day online learning in partnership with Henley Business School and Parsons School of Design & Technology. Before moving to London, Christopher was Global Brand Director and VP of International Business Development for the Reignwood Group in Beijing China. Christopher has been an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design, visiting faculty at the University of Reading England, Tsinghua University in Beijing, Harvard Graduate School of Design and guest lecturer in many international schools and conferences. |
