The American company Moderna Therapeutics have produced a coronavirus vaccine and already carried out tests on hundreds of volunteers.
The first results have been released to break down its effects, including fainting and high fever.
The project was launched by the United States’ Vaccine Research Centre and has been developed by the aforementioned company, which is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Fever and fainting
Ian Haydon told the STAT medical journal that twelve hours after the second dose he had a fever of 39.5 degrees Celsius.
The 29-year-old had to go to the emergency department and when he arrived home, he passed out.
Media exposure
In an interview for CNN he acknowledged that his experience could scare some people.
“I understand that sharing the story, it’s going to be frightening to some people,” Haydon told CNN.
“I hope that it doesn’t fuel any sort of general antagonism towards vaccines in general or towards even this vaccine.
“You have to find a dose that causes the body to produce antibodies, but that does not cause too many side effects.”
Vaccine in Russia
Meanwhile, the First Moscow State Medical University in Moscow published a report on June 23 to announce that they are carrying out tests with an experimental vaccine.
Headaches and fever
After getting the vaccine, part of the volunteers had minor headaches and a high fever, although these symptoms ceased to have effects after 24 hours.
