VDM Confirms Ubi Franklin Paid N3M Debt, Issues Warning

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has provided updates on his recent call-out of Nigerian businessman Ubi Franklin over unpaid debts. In a new video, VDM revealed that Franklin has paid ₦3 million of the amount he owed, following VDM’s public criticism.

VDM had accused Franklin of owing millions to another individual, sparking widespread attention. While commending Franklin for making a payment, VDM criticized his handling of the situation, suggesting Franklin should have communicated better with the creditor to avoid public backlash.

Franklin reportedly claimed that he was unable to repay the debt earlier because he had lost a significant investment due to fraud. However, this explanation did little to soften VDM’s stance.

VDM admitted in his video that his issues with Franklin go beyond the current debt case, stating that he holds personal grievances against the businessman. He went further to express his hope that Nigerian music superstar Davido, who Franklin works with, would terminate Franklin’s professional ties.

“Ubi Franklin has been involved in numerous questionable activities,” VDM alleged, warning that exposing these would “shake the country.” He suggested that if the full extent of Franklin’s actions were revealed, public opinion would turn against him.

Addressing threats from critics, VDM declared that anyone attempting to harm him using spiritual means would face severe consequences. “If you use juju on me, you will lose something precious,” he warned, adding that parents attempting such actions could lose their children.

The businessman has faced a tough year, reportedly losing millions to scammers and suffering business setbacks due to government actions. In a social media post, Franklin lamented the heartbreaks he has endured in 2024, further complicating his public image.

VDM has gained a reputation for his no-holds-barred approach to activism, often calling out public figures for alleged misconduct. His ongoing campaign against Franklin highlights his commitment to addressing financial disputes publicly, though it has drawn mixed reactions from the public.

As the situation unfolds, many are watching to see how Franklin will respond to these allegations and whether additional revelations from VDM will surface.
